Letter from the Chairman

I, Dr. Manmohan Lal Gupta, after completing my MBBS and MS in Ophthalmology, pursued a fellowship in PHACO Surgery from Dr. Shroff's Charity Eye Hospital, New Delhi and Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya (SNC), Chitrakoot.

I began my professional journey as a Senior Resident at Rohilkhand Medical College, Bareilly, and later joined Baba Haidakhan Hospital, Ranikhet (Uttarakhand) as a Consultant Ophthalmologist, where I served for three years. Afterward, I worked for two years at Varun Arjun Medical College, Shahjahanpur (Uttar Pradesh).

Since Shahjahanpur is my native place, I always carried a strong desire to serve the people of my own community. With this vision, in 2016 I established my own eye hospital in a rented building. From 2016 to 2026, the hospital successfully served thousands of patients from Shahjahanpur and nearby regions.

Recognizing the growing healthcare needs of society, in 2026 we established our new hospital building equipped with modern infrastructure, six modular operation theatres, and advanced ophthalmic technology. Our mission has always been to provide quality eye care services that are accessible and affordable for every section of society.

Since 2016, we have successfully performed more than 16,000 surgeries, nearly 50% of which were conducted free of cost for underprivileged patients. This reflects our unwavering commitment to social responsibility and compassionate healthcare.

Our vision is to develop this institution into a premier center of excellence in ophthalmology. Whatever knowledge and experience I have gained throughout my professional journey, I now wish to dedicate to society - not only by serving patients from all economic backgrounds, but also by training and mentoring young doctors, paramedical staff, and healthcare professionals.
